An Unfinished Life

Fleeing from her abusive boyfriend, single mother Jean Gilkyson (Jennifer Lopez) travels to the Wyoming ranch of her former father-in-law, Einar (Robert Redford). Estranged since the death of her husband/his son, the pair slowly begins to rebuild their relationship as Einar cares for a bedridden ranch hand (Morgan Freeman) and Jean starts a tentative romance with the police chief.
