'Beautiful You' began as an attempt to help students receiving social work services to learn how to embrace their strengths, overcome their challenges, and to learn new social skills through fun and contemporary music. As the songs took flight in social work settings, general education classrooms began to learn the songs as well. The need for learning socially related concepts is crucial for the success of children of all ages and ability levels, and music is the perfect vehicle for learning. All of the songs on this CD are original, and have been written by an educator to utilize both in the classroom, as well as in home settings on an individual basis.
