Iconic Sax and Fute player Jim Horn has collected American Indian hand made flutes for years and has spent time playing with Indian Flute players in New Mexico and Arizona. He was so enchanted with the spirit and sounds of the different flutes that he wanted to record a CD by himself with a live waterfall and then add the Indian rope tied tom, toms, pow wow ankle bells and bird sounds to the tracks. He had total freedom improvising different melodies and rhythms without knowing where his thoughts would take him. After he recorded seven tracks, he titled them after listening to the melodies and rhythms. If you close your eyes you will think your outside sitting next to the waterfalls listening to the flutes and taking in the environment of the outdoors. Jim respects the American Indians and realized they have a spirit that most people don't have. It's there and when you sit and listen to this CD you'll understand what he's talking about.
