OLIVIA GOLDEN’S life has been just that… golden. As an “influencer” for a local boutique, telling people what to buy, she takes pride in her growing following. However, after a string of mishaps and bad choices, Liv’s parents decide to show her some “tough love” by cutting her off financially. She soon finds herself out of a job, out of money and even out of a home. Later, Liv runs into an old high school acquaintance who invites her to volunteer at a homeless shelter. With all the wrong motives, Liv decides to go, even finding herself taking a job as a resident advisor in order to have a place to stay. Doing work she’s never had to do before, Liv finds herself a bit challenged. However, she can’t help but be influenced by the residents and the staff. Slowly Liv begins to care about the people she lives with. Overhearing that the homeless shelter is running out of money and in danger of serving their last meal, Liv is determined to help, finding out what it really means to be an “influencer.” It’s not about getting the most followers or likes on a post, but it comes from God, and is all about changing lives, being an encouragement to those in need and serving others.
