The no-frills production emphasizes the hard-edged power-pop sound that made the band famous in the '70s. Rick Neilsen's larger-than-life guitars and Robin Zander's rock-god wail (which now sounds more than ever like Roger Daltrey for some reason) continue to complement each other perfectly on tunes that strike just the right combination between pop hooks and hard rocking energy.
